Configuring PuTTY to forward FTP ports

First, follow these instructions to configure PuTTY. Then, bring up the PuTTY Configuration window, highlight "yip" under Saved Sessions, and click the Load button.

Click on the Tunnels category, which is under the Connection--SSH category.

Look at the Port forwarding section. Ignore the "Local ports accept connections from other hosts" checkbox. Ensure that the radio button beside Local is the one selected.

Under Add new forwarded port:, there are two text entry fields.

Then click Add.

The Forwarded ports: text box should now say this:

L21 yip.org:21

Now click on the Session category and click on the Save button.

You may have to reconnect after adding the tunnel. Screenshots coming soon.

Return to the Uploading section.
