The evil dragon Valsen menaced the town of Vopplemartzden. At first, he simply struck terror into the hearts of its citizenry by breathing fire, flying all around the town and general scary dragon things, but soon this was not enough to satisfy Valsen's rage. Valsen began deliberately pestering the townsfolk: raping the pigs, making lewd jokes in the presence of women and insulting their political institutions without a full understanding of local customs.
The people of Vopplemartzden were utterly lost as to how they should handle this obviously annoying situation, but eventually decided to hold a town meeting in order to decide on the best course of action. The problem was WHERE to hold the meeting. The barn which they had had their last town meeting in had since been converted into a house for the farmer's daughter and her new husband as well as their nine hundred thousand young children. Elder Welkshy was unable to volunteer the tavern, as he wasn't sure he wanted to be with a bunch of people all evening. The Peilsen's offered their cellar, but cautioned that it could hold no more than three people at a time, and that they would have to hold their breath while down there. Eventually, they broke up the decision making process by agreeing to hold a vote sometime in the future.
However, Valsen became bored and destroyed the town fourteen years later. Everyone died horribly, some even died really horribly. end.
