The transformation to a totally carnivorous society could be traced back to the first pro-meat riots in northern Wisconscin. News coverage ensued and the leaders of the anti-vegetarian group 'Plantsuck' spread their meat propaganda across the continent. More pro-meat, anti-plant riots broke out in major cities across North America. Forest fires ran rampant, as well as occurences of grass fires and the burning of large harvests. Numerous pro-plant organizations, such as Greenpeace, Cuddleaf and Plants Are Nice merged and formed the Plantlife Front, a group which became increasingly militaristic in its attacks on meat and its sewing of seeds.
As the government slowly came under the control of the Meat Party (whose leaders could survive any attack on the logic of the platform by calling their opponents 'herbivore bastards'), the Plantlife Front was outlawed. Members of the Plantlife Front were shot without trial by roaming Meat Enforcement Squads. Over the next few months, the Plantlife Front was driven underground, where it is rumoured to have become increasingly radical, until the human and animal members of the group committed mass suicide on the grounds that they were meat. Now meat fever reached new highs. All plants were destroyed.
